The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) wishes to advise of amendments to the Customs Commercial
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) wishes to advise of amendments to the Customs Commercial System (CCS) effective September 18, 2023. Based on a recent review of the CUSMA Tariff Preference Regulations, CCS has been corrected to accept the accurate tariff treatment based on the origin of goods. This means that importers are to utilise Tariff Treatment 10 (UST) when goods originate from the United States, and Tariff Treatment 11 (MXT) if goods originate from Mexico.
