Modification to the List of Permitted Sweeteners to Extend the Use of Acesulfame Potassium
he results of the premarket assessment support the safety of acesulfame potassium for its requested uses. Consequently, Health Canada has extended the use of acesulfame potassium as described in the information document below by modifying the List of Permitted Sweeteners, effective June 20, 2022.
