Canada’s Health Policy on Listeria monocytogenes in ready-to-eat foods
Health Canada has completed its update of the “Policy on Listeria monocytogenes in Ready-to-Eat Foods”. The Listeria policy (2023), which replaces the version dated April 1, 2011, was developed by Health Canada, with input from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and the Public Health Agency of Canada, and takes into account the roles and responsibilities of industry, government and consumers.
